UNC-Charlotte Dean’s Office Renovation

UrbanPort provided project management services for the 2,800-SF renovation of the Dean’s Suite within the Klein College of Science. The multi-floor tenant upfit created new administrative offices, including a dean’s office, associate dean offices, a reception area, and a conference room.

The scope included demolition, new walls, doors, ceilings, millwork, display cases, lighting, and full electrical/data infrastructure upgrades. Design elements were carefully coordinated to remain consistent with the University’s Campus Master Plan and Design Manual, ensuring architectural compatibility and long-term maintainability.

This renovation enhances the functionality, aesthetics, and efficiency of the College of Science’s leadership space while meeting the evolving needs of faculty and administration.
